Kristian Bulluss

NEUROSURGEON

Mr Bulluss undertook his medical degree from the University of Melbourne and neurosurgical training in Melbourne and Sydney.  He completed a PhD at Melbourne University and obtained his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He then further specialised in deep brain stimulation with a functional neurosurgery fellowship at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.  With Professor Tipu Aziz, he developed expertise in the surgical treatment of movement disorders (including Parkinson’s disease, dystonia and essential tremor), pain and epilepsy. Mr Bulluss has published in both national and international journals and is involved in a number of research projects in deep brain stimulation, peripheral nerve repair and minimal invasive spinal surgery.  He works as a consultant neurosurgeon at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Cabrini Hospital, Malvern and Knox Private Hospital.  He has public appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital and Austin Health.
